Our group, whose foundations were laid by our late founder Şevket Çakıroğlu in 1969 under the name of “Çakıroğlu Demir Ticaret ve Nakliye Kolektif Şirketi”, has acted with the goal of growth since its establishment and has made significant investments in different fields of industry and trade. Having realised its first major partnership with Çukurova Demir Çelik Sanayi Haddecilik Ltd. Şti. in 1979, Çakıroğlu Group continued to add value to our country in heavy industry projects until 1985.
Çakıroğlu İnşaat Malzemeleri Ticaret San. A.Ş., established in 1985, and Çakıroğlu Yapı A.Ş., which started its activities in the same years, reinforced the Group’s expertise in construction and contracting. As a strategic response to the increasing domestic and foreign demand in the iron sector, Çakıroğlu İthalat İhracat Metal San. A.Ş. was established in 1992 as a strategic response to the increasing domestic and foreign demand in the iron sector, and a wide service chain was established from storage to sales, distribution to export.
The foreign partnership with Eibel & Çakıroğlu Pencere ve Kapı Sistemleri A.Ş. in 1997, when PVC window and door systems were just beginning to be recognised in Turkey, brought innovations in European standards to the sector.
Çakıroğlu Demir Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. was established in 2006 in order to carry out the increasing export activities more independently and professionally, and one of the exemplary facilities of the sector was put into operation in the coordination of ready iron production and overseas sales.
All these structures were gathered under one roof in the modern facilities established in Orhanlı in 2000 on an area of 25.000 m² and today Çakıroğlu Metal, with more than 250 employees, continues its activities as a strong industrial organisation contributing to the Turkish economy.
